For award-winning documentary photographer and writer Alison Wright, traveling in packed vehicles around Third World countries was just part of a day’s work — until the day her bus careened around a blind curve on a remote jungle road in Laos and collided head-on with a logging truck. Overcoming life-threatening injuries and extensive years of rehabilitation, Wright has achieved the unthinkable: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and resuming her work as an intrepid photojournalist.

Alison has presented her captivating story and photo presentation to dozens of corporations, communities and schools across the country and abroad.

Venues have included the Masters of Photography National Geographic Live Speakers Series, Women in Cable Telecommunications,The Annenberg Space for Photography in LA, Newark Museum, Comcast, Sony, The Smithsonian Institution, Explorers Club, the George Eastman Kodak House, Chautauqua, School of Visual Arts in NY to name a few.
