Event Description
BRAC USA and Alison Wright present:
Women at Work: Photography exhibition
Women are the resilient, hard-working backbones of their communities around the world. In this photography exhibition, BRAC, the world’s largest international development organization, will showcase the magnetic stories of remarkable women in sub-Saharan Africa whose perseverance is often overlooked.
From South Sudan to Sierra Leone, these documentary portraits of women living in post-conflict or hard-to-reach areas, illuminate their shared determination to create better futures for their families through their creativity, ingenuity, and drive.
The images were taken by award-winning photographer, Alison Wright, who traveled to five African countries to document the communities in which BRAC works. This exhibition is a one-night opening and the debut of a traveling showcase.
Remarks will begin at 6:45pm.
Supported by the MasterCard Foundation.

Dear Alision. I hope you recall working with us on our German title Das Erbe unsurer Welt [Heritage of Our Welt] made for the Nat Geo subscribers in Germany.
I was informed about your Women at work exhibition and happy to promote in our forthcoming edition, Nov 2016.
Can you share some info and an image to illustrate it?
    Best regards,
    Marc
